She learned to sing with her mother & sisters in church, first performing regularly at the ripe age of 8. Picking up a mandolin at 14 & guitar at 16, singing & playing music became second nature for this Southern belle. After winning numerous singing competitions, recording 3 albums, & performing professionally at festivals, coffee houses, vineyards & weddings, Karla (Causey) Kincaid made a name for herself & her voice left its mark on her community. After joining forces with her banjo picking, now husband, Stewart Kincaid in 2010, the duo performs regularly with a loyal following. With the release of their album "The Kincaids, Vol. I", an interpretation of traditional Appalachian folk music.
